Strategy Maths provides online 1:1 tuition for students of all abilities (boys and girls), and also provides small group-classes exclusively for girls studying for the Higher Tier GCSE Maths exam.

Fiona Rhode, Course Leader and Founder of Strategy Maths, has been passionately teaching maths for the past 22years. She has taught at some of the most highly regarded schools and colleges in the East of England, including Felsted Boarding School, Colchester Sixth Form College and St Mary's School for Girls. From September 2025 she will be teaching at one of the country's leading Grammar schools for girls, currently ranked as 7th best state school in the country. She has also been an examiner for the International Baccalaureate and is now a current examiner for Edexcel examination board.
Fiona has lots of experience of working with children with SEN needs, in particular students with ASD, ADHD, and also PDA. She is passionate about equal access to education and is creative and skilled at developing a wide range of engaging activities appropriate for children of all learning styles and abilities.
Fiona does much more than just teaching students the ability to repeat a certain procedure with different numbers... Instead she teaches fluency, communication, and reasoning skills with focus on making vital connections between topics so that problem solving becomes enjoyable!
